Understanding Sense of Gain Formation in Adolescent Oral Communication: A Grounded Theory Inquiry into Influencing Factors

Abstract
As an important means of cultivating language art literacy among adolescents, oral communication education has flourished under the influence of national policies and media environments. The effectiveness of this education should also consider the psychological perceptions of adolescents as the main subjects. This study introduces the psychological factor of sense of gain and conducts case analysis on 29 students through participant observation and interviews. It identifies four dimensions and 12 core categories that influence the sense of gain in education: learning motivation, learning process, learning achievement, and social recognition. Based on these findings, a model of influencing factors for the sense of gain in youth oral communication education is constructed, and feasible paths to enhance this sense of gain are proposed. This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for interventions in oral communication education.
